What is Netiquette?

Netiquette are the rules a person must follow in order to be respectful when using the internet. 

Social Media Safety:

Social Media popularity is through the roof! The majority of today's youth have heard of, seen, or use Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, kik, and many others on a daily basis. Social media sites aren't a bad thing. They are a fun way for kids to talk to their friends. However, it is important that kids' social media sites be monitored by their parents. It is also important that parents make sure their kids are aware of the important safety policies when using social media.

Five Social Media Safety Rules: 

1. Keep your posts private!

2. Check your privacy settings frequently!

3. Be careful what you share!

4. Don't add strangers to your friends list!

5. Keep in mind that things you post online may stay there for years!
